In my role as Senior Plant Manager at Trojan Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI), I led a diverse team of over 40 operations, maintenance, and security professionals. My primary focus was on ensuring the safe, reliable, and budget-conscious operation of Trojan ISFSI. Responsible for managing a $22M budget, I successfully achieved all operational milestones while adhering to stringent regulatory standards.I developed and implemented a comprehensive long-range plan to secure sustainable site performance through 2059, emphasizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, I worked on enhancing operational procedures and staff training programs to fortify site safety and reliability, contributing to the overall success of the Trojan ISFSI.Some of my key contributions are as follows: Led company-wide leadership efforts to improve individual and organizational accountability. Directed leadership development for the senior leadership team under the VP of Operations, subsequently extending the program to the entire senior leadership team. Headed creation and execution of operations quarterly business review, crucial for assessing and enhancing performance across a 1500-employee Operations team. Developed and executed a strategic long-range plan that positioned installation for continued operation over the next 40 years – to include justification, design, and construction of a new operations building and planning, development, and implementation of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Aging Management Program. Expanded staff size and knowledge base, equipping the team to meet significant milestones while minimizing costs. Fostered a work culture that prioritized continuous learning, growth, and a positive work environment.
