Within this role I am working on the development and maintenance of existing and new processes within the Wafer Fabrication department. Working on the fabrication of very intricate semiconductor devices with incredibly small geometries. Supporting the development of new products and carrying out experiments in order to further expand our understanding into how these devices operate. During my time in this role I was part of a cross functional team working predominantly on new product introduction activities based around high voltage semiconductor modules. My main research/work area was Electrical interconnection methods to be able to withstand and maintain voltages of up 6.5KV.Other activities included: Developing new processes to enable the better functionality and reliability of new products.
