After returning from China in late 2010, Denholm gave me the opportunity to experience the world of dockyards, including Devonport and the Clyde for the first 2 years. Following this, we commenced a new townworks contract operation in central Scotland and expanded the South East & South West operations into more townwork type activities.

Started from a railway siding yard next to my beloved Tynecastle in Edinburgh and worked with a great team for over 15 years, doing both contracts and hire / sale - only down side was Alan Oliver kept putting Rangers supporters into my teams lol..Moved to central London in 1999 - 2001 and then returned to Scotland and moved the operations to Gilmerton from the South Gyle in Edinburgh in 2001,The rest is history....

Started straight from school as an office junior into the hectic life of the scaffold industry with this great company in 1978. After answering phones and general admin for 2 years, I was thrown into the position of hire and sales co-ordinator, which with the hire & sales guys driving shiny cars and wearing smart suits, was a world away from the contract boys who I worked for.........quotes on the back of fag packets and all that.Worked up to hire and sales rep in Edinburgh and East Scotland which were great days and then got the chance to manage their Edinburgh operations from Loanhead in 1987 - 1993, doing both contracts and hire / sale - along with a little stint as an Edinburgh club DJ........
