This role is responsible for tracking and executing all R&D activities within the Engineering department with a specific focus on New Product Development. In addition, this role is accountable for providing the proper support to internal customers specific to the Specialty business unit, as it relates to the creation of quotes, customer specifications and manufacturing specifications.

This role is responsible for new product design, modification, enhancements and improvements of existing products and materials in accordance with and utilizing professional engineering design principles and practices. This is an integral position within the Engineering team and shall interface and provide technical support to other departments within the organization such as Management, Sales, Production, Quality, etc.
