While attending The University of Nebraska Kearney pursuing my degree in Information Technology, I worked as a field engineer for a regional MSP called Five Nines. I gained valuable knowledge of the industry including soft skills as well as technical skills. After graduating I moved back to my home town of Omaha Nebraska and took on a new role as the Technical Support Specialist for a group of veterinary clinics in the Omaha area. This role gave me a wide arrange of responsibilities including server management and maintenance, network troubleshooting, and any and all tier 1 to tier 2 support. Being in that role for about a year I was promoted to Systems Administrator. In this new position I began working more on project management and infrastructure design. I have developed and designed remote and hybrid environments as our company has made new acquisitions. I have also gained valuable knowledge as an O365 Administrator which allowed me to connect all of our locations to provide a seamless way to communicate and collaborate. As our company has made the move to the national market, I have begun focusing my attention to the cloud -specifically AWS. In March of 2022 I achieved my AWS Cloud Solutions Architect certification and will begin implementing the new skill set into our current environments.
