Ryan's Rose Organic Farm is a 47.5 acre farm located at the intersection of Rose Rd. and Wortendyke Road in Batavia, New York. The property includes a 1/2 acre pond stocked with catfish and perch. We are dedicated to using sustainable farming methods. We do not use chemical pesticides or herbicides. Annual crop rotation, use of nitrogen fixing cover crops and use of composted organic fertilizers are integral to our business. We are growing tomatoes, peppers, sweet corn, watermelon, cantelope, pumpkins, carrots, broccoli, spinich, and bluberries in 2015.We are also partnering with Cornell Cooperative Extension on test plantings of several varieties of pumpkins and watermelons in 2015.Our future plans include renovation of a large orchard and a 30 acre planting of barley for the New York State craft beer brewers.
