Designed and implemented two data-science projects that improve efficiency of ACE Engineers in handling high-severity support cases: (1) A post-mortem dashboard that identifies case-lifecycle bottlenecks that cause slow case-resolution times. Built features for Yup’s landing page, chrome extension, and backend. E.g. a twitter bot that promotes the internet-content which Yup users rated highest by about 7,000 Twitter impressions/week. Used Node.js, React.js, MongoDB, Redis, Redux. Yup allows you to rate anything on the internet (e.g. course reviews), storing your opinions on a decentralized blockchain.

The Prober Control project is a software that serves as an interface for photonics researchers to operate equipment used for testing photonic materials, aiming to accelerate photonics research. I'm working to improve the usability of GUI of Prober Control project by coding changes and observing researchers testing out the new GUI.

I performed research that intersected biology, materials science, and computer science for two summers.First Summer: Performed bio/materials science research on the effects of the novel P12 peptide on blood clots. I helped build a machine learning algorithm that automatically counted the fibrinogen fibers' area coverage on our samples, helping to expedite the data analysis process.Second Summer: Analyzed the effects of polymer additives on perovskite solar cells' efficiency and morphology (Perovskite solar cells are an up-and-coming, promising new solar cell). I also built another machine learning algorithm to analyze the sizes of the perovskite crystals within the solar cell to expedite the crystal counting process. I used Sobel kernels and a logistic regression algorithm to do this.
