The same year that I would turn 25, I was laid off from my work as an assembly line worker at the small industrial company that I worked for two years. This was a start to a change in my life that I had long thought about. I wanted to go from working with electronics and electromechanics to working with people and thus being involved in improving their working lives. So in the fall of 2008, I started my education on the "PA program" at the Linnéuniversity in Växjö. A choice I never regretted.
