SUMMARY I am an Architect who is passionate about all aspects of design. In addition to my love for design, 25 of my 35 plus years in architecture have been in the role of Lead Project Architect/Project Manager working on a wide variety of project types. The common thread in all the positions that I have held has been high-end residential, rendering and artistry while managing many other non-residential projects. At Jordan Architects, although the firm focused on self storage facility design, I was given the most challenging non-self storage projects such as a private jet center at Ontario Airport, corporate interiors, hospitality and high-end residential. I have dealt with the difficulties of getting challenging projects approved through government agencies, homeowners’ associations and developer groups. I have given high-profile presentations to those agencies, and I do not back down from the pressures they can present. I have worked on projects adjacent to historic homes and developed an excellent understanding of the sensitivities and challenges involved. I have also held corporate Interior Design roles on projects such as The Family Channel for their offices in New York and headquarters in Virginia Beach. In the Hospitality Industry I have worked on several hotel re-branding/remodels as well as a fashionable restaurant in Virginia Beach. I have held lead roles on large scale high-profile residential projects including a $30 million residence for a billionaire client and a private residence for the owner of Rite Aid on the beach in Virginia Beach. I worked on many medium to large scale industrial storage/distribution facilities for such clients as Nestle Beverage and Tones Brothers Spices. I see architecture in its totality, create excitement in its overall concept, the manipulation of natural light in form & space, understand that interior design, lighting and landscape design are extensions of total design. I strive to ensure the client/user is happy along the journey. I have excellent illustration talents and maintained rendering roles with every firm in my career. I have always been an intensely creative and design oriented person and explored my artistic side further in college as I minored in Art and Sculpture while pursuing multiple architectural degrees. I have been walking job sites since I was about 10 years old. Design and construction are in my DNA, and I seek to make everything I touch better through sensitive, thoughtful and honest design with a high degree of professionalism..
