Project Lead - Process Optimization (Internship)
During my project at De Vries Aalsmeer, I led an independent research initiative to optimize the work preparation process for piping systems across three shipyards. My analysis focused on identifying inefficiencies and proposing improvements for the mechanical engineering (WTB) process, specifically within the hard piping sector. The project involved reviewing current practices, comparing processes across various shipyards, and providing actionable recommendations to streamline operations and reduce error rates. My findings contributed to enhancing collaboration between departments and informed future decision-making on scaling and centralizing work preparation efforts.
