I’m currently a Sophomore at the University of Utah, majoring in Accounting with a minor in Spanish. Beyond my role as an ambassador and recruiter for the David Eccles School of Business, I have a long history as a swim coach and competitive swimmer. I genuinely enjoy working with and for people, especially when I know I’m making a positive impact on their lives. Understanding people’s interests and catering to them is something I’ve frequently done and find deeply fascinating.My lifelong passion for the automotive industry is evident in my weekly attendance at California’s South Coast Cars and Coffee, where I’m always eager to see the latest automotive innovations. This interest has also sparked a love for photography and design, particularly when it comes to newly released EVs. I’m always keen to engage with others, often rolling down my window to ask for reviews of their cars whenever I have the chance.As a dedicated swim coach with the Marbella Manta Rays under SOCA, I’ve extended my swimming career to the pool deck. Translating my knowledge into teachable skills for even the most challenging students has been a rewarding experience. My 10-year history as a competitive swimmer has been invaluable in my professional endeavors, and I’ve also leveraged my fluency in Spanish to expand my customer base for a small private swim lesson business I started in my community. I’ve begun learning the basics of marketing and accounting, which I plan to further develop during my time at the University of Utah and in my future career.In addition to honing my skills, I’m actively expanding my interests. I’ve joined the rock climbing club, the One Love Ski club, and I continue to maintain my discipline through the University Swim Club.
