Since November 2021, I'm working as a scientific project manager on research projects in the fields of smart cities and urban mobility planning at the German Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development (BBSR). In addition, I'm working towards finishing a PhD on SUMPs as a governance instrument for sustainable urban mobility planning in the face of an uncertain future at University of Strathclyde (Glasgow).I'm passionate about placemaking and climate resilience. In addition, some fascinating projects (at work and in university) sparked my interest in connecting my knowledge and skills with future trends and the system dynamics of various fields outside the traditional civil engineering curriculum - such as aviation management, ecosystem restoration and digital work environments. My goal is to work for a world that is arable, that is stable, and a world where we have in mind the needs of others, and not only what we need immediately.
