I have an extended diploma (Level 3) in Creative Media Production, I studied at Farnborough College of Technology for two years, the course allowed me to learn how to make many different kinds product like short film, advert, documentary, music video. I have a grade 3 in Graphic design at GCSE level which me some transferable art and Photoshop skills to be used. I also have a grade 5 in English and grade 4 in math's. ​Farnborough College of Technology offered many different ways for me to use my media skills outside of lesson and get experience in working in a production team. One piece of work experience I was apart of was I was a camera operator for a guest speaker. The college had many speakers come in and talk were sometimes livestreamed around the college. Another piece of work experience I was apart of was filming a sports day at aldershot military stadium. This gave me the experience of arriving at a different location and having to set up all recording equipment on arrival while working on a deadline. ​Through my experiences in professional settings I find that I am most passionate about audio and editing. While recording for other peoples projects I found myself mostly being in the audio recording role which has allowed me to learn how to effectively record high quality audio. Another passion I have in media is editing, I found editing to be the part of production I most looked forward to as I progressed in my skills, I also found that I had that I had the most development in my editing skills compare to others. ​Through learning what my passions throughout my course, I have found that my aspiration is to be an editor for story based films. I have found that being on set is not the environment I am looking for and that I do my best work while editing. I also think that editing is where the majority of my skills and talents are.  ​​​​
