2003-2006 Amgen West Greenwich, RIMechanical Supervisor Worked with the Scheduling and Planning Department to improve the process flow, identify spares and refine work steps to allow for a higher level of performance from my group. This also involved supporting the Central Inventory Department in the identification of critical spares and establishing proper min/max levels to insure proper inventory. Developed an excellent working relationship with my client groups. This included the process engineering and management teams. Trained and developed staff to meet all challenges in regards to safety and program changes such as GAMMA, this involved the development of process flows which allow the technicians to step through the impacted areas and correct them as problems were identified. Managed issues with personnel conflicts to resolution, this involves coaching and mediating in order for people involved to understand how things are to be approached and what is acceptable in regards to behavior. I've dealt with a large amount of change within my three plus years as a supervisor within the Facilities Department. In going through this, I've learned to embrace it as the norm working at Amgen and have coached my staff on the importance of accepting this as part of working for a company that strives to be an industry leader.
