This involved the review, revision, development and setup of all preventative maintenance activities. Development Equipment spares listing and entering them into the CMMMS data base. Setup Maintenance duration requirements based on use through tracking processing run times. Train contracted support on the use of CMMS data base to research equipment history for trending and equipment reliability data. Managing Projects for the insurance of new equipment is built, entered into CMMS data base within guild lines of the equipment boundary network. Manage Outside resourced contractors to perform maintenance activities on equipment that had service contracts. Develop Pre work safety plans for contracted services to align with Corporate EH&S guidelines. Manage Lockout tag out hazardous energy control procedure development for Preventive Maintenance program for all maintenance crafts.  Managed the site Job Hazard Analysis development program for the mechanical and instrumentation crafts.

2006-2011 Amgen West Greenwich, RISenior ManagerResponsible for Facilities Operations and Maintenance at the Rhode Island site. Oversee the CMMS system, change control for GMP areas, and the accomplishment of preventive, predictive, and unscheduled maintenance. Supports the provision of other services to personnel located at the site. Oversee the effort of the Maintenance Information Coordinator, and applicable trade personnel. Ensures that work in GMP areas is accomplished in accordance with applicable SOPs and Procedures. Oversees the Change Control Program and ensures that applicable documentation is managed IAW standards and procedures Develop, revise, and write SOPs, procedures, and standards as necessary. Ensure required equipment maintenance is scheduled and performed within budget and on time. Make repair/replace decisions on all facilities equipment for a 24/7 manufacturing site. Implement and manage effective preventive maintenance and change control programs. Oversee the provision of summary reports from the Maximo and SAP systems as necessary. Control the facility maintenance contracts for the facility as assigned. Responsible for ensuring that training is compliant and documented properly for a department of 60 full time employees.  Develop and control site expense budgets. Recommend strategies to reduce facility operating and maintenance costs.• Coordinates with project and other support personnel on moves, construction, and other interfaces. • Assumes responsibility for off- hours maintenance including weekend and shift work coverage as required.

2003-2006 Amgen West Greenwich, RIMechanical Supervisor Worked with the Scheduling and Planning Department to improve the process flow, identify spares and refine work steps to allow for a higher level of performance from my group. This also involved supporting the Central Inventory Department in the identification of critical spares and establishing proper min/max levels to insure proper inventory. Developed an excellent working relationship with my client groups. This included the process engineering and management teams.  Trained and developed staff to meet all challenges in regards to safety and program changes such as GAMMA, this involved the development of process flows which allow the technicians to step through the impacted areas and correct them as problems were identified. Managed issues with personnel conflicts to resolution, this involves coaching and mediating in order for people involved to understand how things are to be approached and what is acceptable in regards to behavior. I've dealt with a large amount of change within my three plus years as a supervisor within the Facilities Department. In going through this, I've learned to embrace it as the norm working at Amgen and have coached my staff on the importance of accepting this as part of working for a company that strives to be an industry leader.
