I have been practicing law for over 19 years. I began my legal career as a Navy Judge Advocate where I acted as a criminal defense attorney and a legal assistance attorney. In my role as legal adviser, I reviewed and provided input on documents to be used by Sailors in the Fleet, reviewed treaties and created a desk book to be used by Senior officers on treaty obligations at remote posts. I provided operational law advice for a course for propsective Commanding Officers. Mobilized to active duty supporting a Joint Command overseeing the processing of National Security assets. I supervised 3 attorneys and 4 paralegals.
