Accessories BU is in charge of all the trims for Decathlon products. Zipper, button, drawstring, elastic, plastic buckle…With a textile engineering background, I am component and technology engineer in charge of the developpment of recycled material and sustainable solution for textile accessories and the developpment of the textile accessories offer. Multiple processes are involved with braiding, flat knitting, and weaving. Our available technologies offer a wide range of assets including silicon deposit treatment, emboss, sublimation or jacquard for our accessories. My personal objectifs includes changes in the raw materials with recycled one and improvement in the dyeing process. As an exemple, the change for dope dyed yarn create less water pollution and stronger dyeing durability. Managing the developpment of fitness elastic component I am strongly linked to technical excellency with the management of strength level on the global range for Decathlon elastic fitness product.
