Conducted wet lab research on the evolution of algal extremophiles under global warming, focusing on Chlorella Vulgaris from Antarctica, Hainan, and Japan. Responsibilities included collecting, isolating, and analyzing algae samples using molecular biology techniques, such as multi-omics characterization and DNA sequencing. Cryogenic preservation techniques were employed for genome comparison and mutation analysis. Additional tasks involved developing BG-11 Medium and ensuring adherence to lab protocols.
