• Contributed significantly to a £65 million office development project, involving two 85,000 square feet, five-story office buildings, a multi-story car park, and external landscaping.Work Packages Managed:• Raised Access Flooring for Two Buildings- Coordinated logistical sequencing of concurrent high-level M&E works.- Implemented Corex board protection, managing a labourer team for material movement and application/repair of boarding.• Screeding Works for Stair Core and Bathrooms (Level 0-5):- Prepared and updated the fire evacuation plan and egress access routes.- Relayed site logistic information during Daily Activity Briefings.- Managed the delivery plan of materials.• Painting and Decorating:- Documented and displayed clear handover documents from plasterers to following subcontractors.- Ensured sign-off and hold points before commencing works.- Provided sufficient work for painters by persistently managing wall deliveries.- Conducted snagging of plaster before and after painting, documenting clearly for the commercial team.- Creating and controlling the ITP for all three packages.• Leading Daily Activity Briefings (DABs):- Occasionally led DABs with all subcontractor supervisors (up to 14).- Detailed ongoing works, clash detection, logistics, and discussed delay/accelerations.• Additional skills learnt:- Participated in progress meetings, completed minutes, and measured completed works.- Enhancing security by implementing NFC tracing during nightly security patrols, specifically in response to the installation of HV/LV cables.- Developed key soft skills and fostered relationships while closely collaborating with a team of seven laborers during my placement. Responsibilities included implementing SSoW's, addressing logistical challenges, enhancing on-site safety, and improving the tidiness of the 100BBP project.

2.5 months industrial placement with Bam Nuttall - Trainee Engineer.This involves site setting out, WPP's, TBS's, ITP's and Tendering.The project was for Network Rail on a scheme called Access for All (AfA) at Eridge station near Tunbridge Wells and involved the installation of a hydraulic lift shaft, platform extension and an access ramp.Another site we controlled was a Eridge Cutting. The works included the drilling of 300 soil nails from 8-14 metres into the bank to stabilise the earth, finished with a king post retaining wall and mesh netting connecting the pins. Again for Network Rail with Bam Ritchies.

Worked as a labourer on a specialist tarmac and groundworks company for two years full time and two years part time during holidays from university. Job role included compaction which I would be the main roller driver on occasions, using the Vib-role, Bomag BW120 as well as being back up roller driver on the BW80 on larger jobs.Being a labourer consisted of pushing barrows, shovelling, raking and during ground works, laying edges, block paving and drainage.This job provided great insight to what its like working under management and being a subcontractor, it taught me how to approach soft skills when leading people and how to approach problems when faced with a tough decision.Working at the 'bottom' allowed me to determine how I would like to manage and lead people; visiting various sites on a weekly basis showed good sites, bad sites and poorly organised sites
