I plan, organise and co-ordinate the supply chain ensuring the efficient and economic use of production resources to satisfy customer demands. Place the relevant purchase orders and manage the supply chain for materials, bought out parts, packaging, outwork, consumables and miscellaneous items all over the world.I issue purchase orders to suppliers all over the world. I receive and check order acknowledgements from suppliers resolving any queries/discrepancies as necessary.I work closely with global shipping partners brining in stocked container sets each day of the working week. As a department we all work closely to ensure stock is brought into the UK with landed costs all in budget. I progress chase daily any overdue deliveries from suppliers. Amend and maintain accurate delivery dates on purchase orders and all levels of planning to ensure synchronisation. I analyse and report weekly on overdue and current order position, liaising closely with key stakeholders. I hold daily COT meetings with key members from each department to update on supply chain and progress.As my excel knowledge has developed this has enabled me to work with departments to implement simple and effective daily reports to assist with day to day visibility.
