To provide implementation of Drum Therapy/Art therapy and behavioral health services and programs for youth, adults, families, groups, communities, and the general public. Our services are designed to provide behavioral health services which include: mental health and AOD counseling, drum/art therapy, behavior modification, development of positive social living skills, development of community support systems, development of inexpensive positive leisure skills, spiritual development, and educational enhancement to participants regardless of race, creed, color, sex, disability, or economic status.

Therapist/Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor: Full-time supervision of six employees. I provide clinical supervisory services for all CDCA and QMHP staff, and provide other duties which include: participation in weekly management meetings, facilitation of weekly staff meetings, review of all case notes and documentation of staff, submission of monthly reports, and report to CEO and business partners. I also provide clinical note writing trainings, service delivery trainings, medical coding trainings, universal precautions trainings, emergency response and building safety training, mental health and addiction intervention trainings, orientation procedures, transitional housing procedures, code of ethics trainings, team approach concepts, facilitation of individual and family counseling sessions, and I am the coordinator of five sober living homes.

Part-time. Provision of therapeutic services to individuals, families, and couples. Duties include: provision of codependency counseling, group therapy, geriatric services, timely documentation submission, collaboration with various professionals and criminal justice officials.

Dual Enrollment Course, Huron High School, Wayne Memorial High School, and WCCCD Western Campus. Contract position: Adjunct Professor. Sociology 100. Students examined basic sociological concepts e.g., theories of social organization research, methods of research, culture, society and social groups, the socialization process, social class and social mobility, race and ethnic relations. Social institutions such as education, family, religion and government also discussed.

Senior Consultant Team member assigned to formulate proposals recommended by the Chief Academic Officers, present endorsements to the Chancellor, and facilitate project directives from the Chancellor’s office.

Dual Enrollment Course, New Boston High School, New Boston, MI. Contract position: Adjunct Professor (Mar. 2012 – May 2012) Sociology 100. Students examined basic sociological concepts e.g., theories of social organization research, methods of research, culture, society and social groups, the socialization process, social class and social mobility, race and ethnic relations. Social institutions such as education, family, religion and government also discussed.

Part-time position: Assisted Dean of Students in organizing and manning the office, provided collaborative services with student service organizations, and performed various tasks.

Contract position: Service Learning Coordinator. Coordinate service learning opportunities for non-traditional college students at Jones Elementary School (University of Toledo @ Toledo Public Schools) and local non-profit agencies. Other duties include: Recruitment for present cohort and future cohort (Spring 2012), assisting students with FAFSA applications filing, assisting students with University of Toledo enrollment, coaching, and other logistical duties.

Contract position: Assistant Instructor. TSOC 2000 Diversity in Contemporary Society. This course analyzes the roles of people in a culturally diverse society through an exploration of issues of race, class, gender, ethnicity, and disability. Other duties included: Recruitment of cohorts, assisting students with FAFSA applications filing, assisting students with University of Toledo enrollment, coaching, and other logistical duties. TSOC 2000 is taught at Pickett Elementary School as part of a pilot program. The program recruits low-income parents who have children attending Pickett Elementary School (University of Toledo @ Toledo Public Schools).

Contract position – (August 2008-May 2010) - Full-time Social Work Instructor. Duties include: Responsible for teaching and advising baccalaureate social work students.
