Dr. Tom Sisk joined Limestone County Schools as Superintendent in June 2012 in his 25th year of service to public education. He holds an Associate in Arts Degree from Potomac State College in Mathematics and Education, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education, and Master of Arts Degree in Special Education from West Virginia University. He additionally holds and Educational Specialist Degree from the University of South Alabama in Instructional Leadership. He has completed the Harvard Supt Institute. He earned his doctorate in Numismatic Studies and is recognized regionally as a currency appraiser.An educator at heart, Dr. Sisk has served as a special education teacher, a varsity coach in football, wrestling, and women’s softball. He has served as a high school administrator and central office administrator 22 of his now 31 years. He is a Nationally Certified School Supt. One of fewer than 300 in the United States.
