I created and managed the Brazilian subsidiary of GreenYellow, successfully establishing a new player in the energy efficiency and solar photovoltaic sectors.GreenYellow is the energy subsidiary of the Casino Group, with local presence in France, Brazil, Colombia, Thailand, the Indian Ocean and Africa. It develops:- Building Integrated Photovoltaic power plants. Proparco is a French Development Finance Institution (DFI) and a subsidiary of the French Agency for Development. It finances projects with positive developmental, environmental and social impacts.Within the Corporate Division (renewable energies, agro-industry, heath & education), I have been exposed to more than 30 projects in developing and emerging countries:- I structured corporate loans & equity investments: performed due diligences, presented projects to the Board, negotiated financial and legal terms and conditions;- I assessed on-going business opportunities with prospective clients and worked on the opening of Proparco’s representation office in Central America;- I have been in charge of the institutional relationship with DEG (German DFI).

I restructured non-performing loans, mainly in the ethanol production sector. In this context, I monitored SG NY’s ethanol portfolio and ran sensitivities to assess the impact of commodity’s price volatility.I have also been in charge of a portfolio of 13 transactions (infrastructure, energy): I managed agency mandates, monitored risks, produced periodic reviews for credit committees.

I have been in charge of implementing microcredits and community saving banks in 3 rural communities of northern Ecuador:- Micro-credits: together with a vet and an agronomist, I conducted social and financial analyses of beneficiaries, assessed their technical capabilities and accordingly implemented and monitored credits, mainly irrigation and small animals; - Community saving banks: with the help of community leaders, I created saving banks to foster organization and independence from external support: I worked on organizational issues, created accounting documents, trained future managers and beneficiaries.

I audited internal accounting procedures and analysed financial records of French multinational firms.
