After completing the Aviation Senior Supervisor course at DSAE - MOD Lyneham I am currently posted to 7 Close Support Battalion REME working on the Apache AH-64(E), currently I am working for 3 Regiment AAC in a Workshop Maintenance Group (WMG) here I am responsible for the following:• Planning, managing and distributing engineering maintenance tasks to subordinate teams and as a result reduced the unserviceability state of a number of key pieces of equipment. • Spearheaded the carrying out of assurance checks on safety critical, complex aircraft systems and led the recording of the associated documentation which resulted in sustained high safety standards. • Increased team cohesion by assessing, mentoring, and coaching supervisors, carrying out performance reviews, and setting goals.• Carrying out independent inspections on air safety critical components such as blade attachments, engine components, hydraulics, fuel, area weapon systems and more.•A point of contact and assuming crew chief responsibilities between heirachy and other units who we provide depth maintenance work for.

Upon posting to 47th Regiment Royal Artillery to carry out supervisory preventive and corrective maintenance on the Watchkeeper Tactical Unmanned Air System (TUAS) my duties were as follows: Responsible for leading a diverse team of technicians in the day-to-day running of a range of engineering related tasks. This includes managing projects which require the inspecting, supervising and the carrying out of work packages on safety-critical systems. • Consistently generated efficient plans for the maintenance of complex safety critical systems, ensuring all work is planned, performed, and recorded in a safe manner. • Turned management plans into action by supervising the adjustment, repair, and replacement of electrical projects on aircraft accessories. Ensuring to carry out performance reviews, training and setting goals for members of my maintenance team. • Formulated guidance and instructions to team members concerning technical documentations, work orders, and hazardous materials.• Setting up of a deployed approved flying location in MOD Boscombe Down and subsequently in RAF Akrotiri (Cyprus) for the UAS to deploy from and carry out task lines specific to the Regiment.•
