 Implemented changes to a process on the manufacturing line by designing a new soldering fixture. Performed a cost analysis on the change, demonstrating it resulted in savings of approximately twenty thousand dollars. Assisted engineers in designing new products and testing equipment in Solid Edge. Oversaw the repair and replacement of test equipment by ordering the required material, designing the required modifications, and completing the fabrication. Acquired data on the quality of the products on the production line and graphed it in Microsoft Excel to identify any variables that would cause problems. Formulated possible solutions to decrease the failure rate.  Tracked quality metrics for assemblies, sub-assemblies, and parts for multiple products on the production floor. Identified and corrected process deficiencies when the failure rate became unacceptable.
