I am a 30 years old historian with specialization in modern history (and especially in German History and the interwar and postwar period). Aside from my subject specific specialization, I have also – as an historian – obtained skills that are useful for the general academic labour market. These skills include expertise in various methods of collating and critically processing large volumes of information; ability to critically evaluating academic texts and data in terms of information content, usability and credibility; smart ways of using IT to process texts and numerical data; and to independently organize and conduct analysis and communicative assignments. I have, furthermore, acquired useful academic work experience in my capacity as a coordinator and project student at University of Copenhagen. As a coordinator at the Faculty of Humanities and as project student at the Faculty of Law I have insights and practical experience in areas such as organization development, planning, directing and coordinating staff, speaking to large audiences, preparing and holding seminars, workflow improvements through digitalization, archive research, proofreading and book editing. I am currently freelancing while I pursue new opportunities and can be reached via e-mail at thomas@storgaard.de
Listed skills include Danish, Qualitative Research, Academic Writing, Interwar Period, and 29 others.
