For the past three years I have been the foreman on large detention window installation projects in NY, CT, MA and MD. I am currently installing windows at the Auburn Correctional Facility.I have demonstrated the ability to accurately measure window openings and document site conditions for more than 1000 openings.I have installed hundreds of windows from Hopes, Optimum, and CM Security.In addition to installing windows daily I coordinate their removal with lead abatement companies and hygienists, meet with OGS and interact with the customer.I am involved in every aspect of installation from initial measurement, to security caulk and interior finish work.

Expert on the installation and maintenance of sliding devices and electric locks as well as pneumatic installations from Southern Folger, Adtech, and Stuart Decataur. . I have extensive experience in all aspects of detention equipment installation including hollow metal doors and frames, security and builder door hardware, glazing, and exterior security windows from industry suppliers like Southern Folger, Habersham and Hopes. I have demonstrated the ability to independently plan a project, track its progress, meet deadlines, and ensure product quality. I have also demonstrated the ability to understand blueprints and specification manuals as well as the ability to collaborate with other trades to coordinate control systems and detention equipment installations for federal prisons and courthouses across the eastern half of the United States.I have supervised large projects including all ten West Virginia Regional jails as well as projects in MA, CT, NY, NJ, PA, MD, VA, NC, FL, MS, MI, KY, IL, IA and OH. I am accustomed to running jobs with crews of 5 to 10 workers.I have worked with major general contractors such as Gilbane, Yates, Jacobs, Whiting-Turner, Granger, Mascaro, and Messer. I have worked with architectural firms such as Jacobs, Moseley and Crabtree.I have extensive knowledge of safety requirements and procedures including the 30 hour OSHA construction safety and health certification. I am familiar with background checks, tool inventories, and drug and alcohol tests as these are required for most high security detention jobs
