• Technical leader of ArrayComm’s LTE UE program including project planning and management.
• Leading a small team of research (PhDs) and software engineers developing and implementing receivers for LTE UEs.

• Providing technical leadership in PHY layer for ArrayComm’s standards participation with systems engineering in 802.16e/m and WiMAX forum.

• Developed a full suite of subscriber station PHY layer algorithms including non MIMO (DL-PUSC/AMC) transmissions as well as Alamouti and spatial multiplexing transmissions (MIMO-A/B). Also created an adaptive downlink.
• Participated in 802.16 standards meetings as well as WiMAX forum meetings.

• Built a software radio test-bed with multiple transmit and receive antennas often called multiple-input multiple output (MIMO) system.
• Research on exploiting the spatio-temporal structure in practical MIMO channels for training reduction and channel prediction.

• Developed algorithms for space-time communication, channel modeling, and channel probing of MIMO communication systems.
• Created and taught a new graduate level course. Space-time coding was the main part of the course and algorithms such as Alamouti and BLAST were implemented and tested using measured MIMO channel data.
