Principal Data Scientist
CurrentThroughout my time at Danske Bank, I have had the opportunity to contribute to three distinct teams: Loss & Valuation Modeling (2013 – mid 2015), Risk Appetite (mid 2015 – end 2021), and ESG Risk Methods & Analytics (end 2021 – present). In my initial role within the Loss & Valuation Modeling team, I served as a key developer for an advanced property valuation model targeting private residential real estate in Denmark. The model was designed to emulate the valuation process of real estate agents, basing its estimations on comparable sales prices of neighboring properties.Transitioning to the Risk Appetite team, I played a significant role in the development of stress-test models, What-If analyses, risk appetite frameworks, and a novel approach to loss calculations under the IFRS9 accounting standard. These accomplishments were achieved through close collaboration with various units across Danske Bank.In my current capacity within the Climate Analytics & Data team, my responsibilities primarily encompass carbon emission estimations for diverse asset classes, physical climate risk assessments, climate stress tests, scenario analyses, target setting, and comprehensive climate-related in-depth analyses.
