Inspection and functional test of sub-assemblies: using purpose built hardware to test circuit boards and modules. Troubleshooting at component level of digital and analogue circuits: fault-finding using schematics and printed circuit board layouts to determine the cause of the problem. This included rework at surface-mount level, which required very accurate soldering. Examples include a PSU and signal amplifier designed to customer specifications.Installation and maintenance of live sound on site in many venues around Newcastle and Edinburgh: from installation of speakers and amplifier systems to fixing broken DJ equipment.Other tasks included administrative and finance tasks such as invoices, spreadsheets and providing customer support.
