As an Energy Efficiency Analyst for Énergie NB Power I have had the opportunity to:* design, develop, and implement numerous databases (MS Access and SQL based) to collect information for programs operated in the Commercial, Residential, Public Outreach, and retail areas,* create requests for proposals;* work with other government departments on interdepartmental committees;* work with a teams to design and implement electricity efficiency programs;* perform data mining and ad hoc reporting related to the performance of programs;* continue as a Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP);* work with numerous people on the implementation and improvement of SAP tools and systems; and* work on Evaluation, Measurement, and Verification initiatives.

As an Energy Efficiency Analyst for Efficiency New Brunswick I have had the opportunity to:* work with the alignment champion at Efficiency NB on lean six sigma / Balanced Scorecard initiatives;* run a pilot project on commercial building labelling;* project manage research projects examining the current state of energy Efficiency in the Maritimes;* perform greenhouse gas project reporting;* design, develop, and implement numerous databases (MS Access and Oracle based) to collect information for programs operated in the Industrial, Commercial, Residential, and Public Outreach areas of Efficiency New Brunswick;* create requests for proposals and evaluate responses;* write proposals to be involved in national research projects;* work with other government departments on interdepartmental committees;* work with electric utilities on the development of demand side management plans and three year electricity efficiency plans;* provide information and recommendations during policy development processes;* work with a team from Efficiency NB to design and implement electricity efficiency programs;* perform data mining and ad hoc reporting related to the performance of the agency and programs;* become a LEED AP; and* become a Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP).

In my role as Business Unit Manager at the Saskatchewan Research Council I managed the operations of the Building Performance Business Unit. This involved managing up to five staff including hiring, performance management, and professional development. I was responsible for a $1.1 million annual budget.To achieve this budget I worked with my team to write proposals, perform research projects related to energy efficiency performance of buildings (residential and commercial), write reports, and develop and deliver presentations on our findings.
