The West Oakland Green Initiative (WOGI) is a community-based organization that has been operating since 2002. Our mission is to improve the quality of life and health of West Oakland neighborhoods by planting trees in our community. By working the City of Oakland, West Oakland Commerce Association, the Port of Oakland, West Oakland Environmental Indicators and many other West Oakland neighborhood groups we have been able to plant more than 1,200 trees in our community.
