Tom recently joined Columbia Consulting Group (CCG), bringing more than 35 years of experience in the financial sector both as an executive recruiter and investment manager with Arque Advisors. His in-depth knowledge of the market, as well as his ability to build strong and trusted client relationships are the foundation for his successful career.Prior to CCG, Tom spent 15 years as an Investment Manager and Commodities Broker, most recently still serving as a Managing Director of Arque Advisors. Tom provides investment management to hundreds of clients, approaching each client with a unique perspective based on their long-term investment strategies, in addition to marketing and strategy support to third party consulting clients. Tom began his career as an executive recruiter. He founded and served as President of Tomljanovic & Company, a New York based management recruiting firm focused on accounting and financial leadership placements in highly visible roles at leading, global financial institutions. Serving Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, he placed clients in New York City and the surrounding metro areas, as well as internationally. The firm’s success was largely due to Tom’s innate ability to find the perfect match between both the client and candidate’s needs. His focus on long-term placement success continues to be at the forefront of his work. Tom attended The University of Charleston in Charleston, West Virginia, where he received a B.S. in Marketing and Management.
