Maintenance Manager
CurrentOver three years facilities Maintenance Manager experience at a national company. Direct, plan, budget costs, and supervise numerous capital expenditure projects, always within or below projected budget costs. Projects encompass both capital expenditure projects ranging from $25,000 to $1.5 million dollars, involving contractors/vendors to internal facility upgrade, construction projects. mDirect supervision of maintenance staff within a 250,000 square foot facility on 22 acres, evaluating all work performed, ensuring compliance with set standards. Manage and direct maintenance staff consisting of electricians, mechanics, purchasing agent, and custodian. Assign daily objectives and goals ensuring all aspects of facilities, equipment, and grounds are maintained. Manage weekly preventative maintenance program. Always ensure a safe environment through compliance with OSHA, CALOSHA standards and by facilitating safety meetings with outside contractors, vendors prior to any work, enforce company safety policies and regulations. Perform monthly safety inspections and enforce company safety policy among maintenance staff. Meticulous preparation of accurate documentation relating to work discrepancies, disciplinary matters, project evaluations, daily time sheet records, daily maintenance inspections and safety concerns are part of my direct responsibilities. Additionally these responsibilities include hiring, training, the assignment, prioritization and directing of daily objectives, goals for maintenance staff.
