My role within SAS Technical Support placed me as one of the key members of the analytics specialist team. My responsibilities revolved around the departmental mission of providing effective and responsive support for SAS’s customers, from countless industries; ensuring that they not only make the most out their SAS software, but the data that drives their business every single day.In addition to my day-to-day departmental responsibilities, I was also UK&I SAS Technical Support’s Brand and Charity ambassador. The Charity Ambassador role allows me to work alongside like-minded and passionate people throughout the organisation to formulate how SAS ‘s wealth of resources could be utilised to better the lives of employees, local communities and the world around us. The Brand Ambassador role had me frequently working alongside the marketing team to ensure that the processes and practices within the department continued to align with SAS’s forward-thinking and innovative mindset.

This role started as a temporary position, undertaken as part of a college placement, however upon my placement's completion I was kept on as paid employee.My role found me working alongside my own client-base, to optimise their site’s content to better align with Google’s search algorithm. This job provided the platform for my web-development skills to grow and adapt, along with building my confidence of managing various clients simultaneously.
