A forward thinking motivated leader with 30 plus years of hands-on experience in various multifaceted lean manufacturing environments with successful achievements in the aerospace, automotive and food industries. I have utilized and applied lean principles as an hourly and salary employee. I have not only applied these lean principles and techniques to my industrial life but also to my personal life as well and I continue to look for ways to improve. I was consistently recognized for outstanding performance with McKechnie Vehicle Components, a supplier of wheel trim for the automotive industry. I saved McKechnie significant operating cost in the first year of my employment. Through my team training skills and utilizing the tools and concepts from lean manufacturing training, significant project improvements were made to the paint lines, machining and assembly areas. My involvement and management of a new project start-up of a powder coat operation and getting it ISO certified with no nonconformance is a testament to my abilities as a leader and project manager.
