Initially intended to enhance our in-house tournaments, our proof of concept was met with success and we proceeded to implement the system for other promoters across the United States. As an experienced Engineering Manager, I seized the opportunity to design and develop a mobile application that integrated with the Famous Accounting System. Drawing on my prior experience of creating the first mobile integrations into Famous as Engineering Manager of a VAR that sold barcode equipment, I was able to take full advantage of the support of the Famous development team, access to internal APIs, and guidance from an incredible mentor.
