Drive is something that every person possess. It doesn't necessarily help you succeed however, unless you know how to use it. Your drive needs to be centered around something you are passionate about, or else you will not be able to effectively use your drive to its full potential.At first my passion was more focused on success as a professional, which it still is of course however, it is also focused on completing the job, whatever it might be, in the best way possible. My drive and passion leave me unsatisfied until the job is not only completed but completed to the best of my abilities.Although drive is a key factor in completing tasks, I developed many other skills along the way to get the job done. Growing up as a competitive athlete taught me great time management, which has been an invaluable trait throughout my life.I have always worked throughout my college career. Partially to support myself, and partially to develop a well-rounded skill set. All of my jobs have involved a large amount of face-to-face interaction with customers and clients. This has allowed my people skills and communication ability to grow and succeed.Continuing with soft skills, I am a great team player, have a great work ethic, and am very teachable. Whatever role I need to play to make the team succeed is the role that I will excel in.Focusing on technical qualifications, I will be completing a B.S. in Civil Engineering in the spring. I have experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, and Civil3D, as well as MATLAB. I also have classroom education in project management.I will be taking the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam in the spring, in pursuit of a qualification as a Professional Engineer. I also plan on taking the necessary steps to become a licensed Project Manager.I am open to new opportunities whenever they may present themselves. I enjoy being in the outdoors exploring new places and continuing to learn.
