Twenty one year’s overall experience in the telecommunications and cable industry. Six years experience managing technicians and telecommunication network infrastructure. Eight years experience working on the Comcast National Backbone DWDM Network. Part of a team that performed RFP to determine best long haul vendor for Comcast network needs. I also helped Maintain, upgrade and repair National Long haul network comprised of 60,000 km of operational long haul/metro DWDM networks. Personally have mentored optical technicians to improve and teach them next level of support at XO communications and at Comcast. Well versed in troubleshooting of DS0 through 100G circuits. Trained and experienced in planning, installation, provisioning, certification, troubleshooting and maintaining fiber optic transport DWDM networks, digital switches, Core routers, DC and AC power plants and HVAC systems. I have worked with most large Optical Vendors: Ciena, Nortel, Cisco, Fujitsu, ALU and ADVA to name some.
