About Thomas Vahl-Meyer
In 2003 I was introduced to the inner workings of a complex manufacturing business and was given a seat at Board level. At board level I was expected to report on specific functions of the manufacturing plant, create forecasts for budgeting of raw materials, machinery capacity and labor efficiencies. This role then evolved into Sales strategies domestically and internationally. This in turn allowed me to network and develop a broad range of contacts throughout Australia and the Asian market.As the Operations manager I oversaw the contractual engagements as a product was developed and launched, this included stakeholders such as long-term clients, new clients and Import supplier agreements. I was also the point person for Government contracts. As a current General Manager with 20+ years’ experience in all aspects of management, I bring proven success in accountability, stakeholder engagement, operations, strategic oversight, and management. I possess a comprehensive set of skills that I believe are valuable which includes but not limited to high-level communication, public relations, conflict resolution and ability to prioritize with effective time management. As the most senior person on site, I have always believed that by adhering to the standards and values set by the company is the most important way to lead. Trust and respect are gained by maintaining these values to the highest order.
