Finding partners and ressources for exciting new projects at the Mary Elizabeth's Hospital - Rigshospitalet for Children, Teens and Expecting Families

Head of the BREATHE–project, a Nordic translational research consortium within asthma and COPD, with the participation of clinical and basic science centers in Denmark and Southern Sweden. BREATHE studies large real-life cohorts of asthma and COPD patients to support the use and development of new innovative treatments, and biomarkers in respiratory disease. BREATHE is funded by EU (Interreg Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak), private foundations and the Pharmaceutical industry.

Coordinating the collaboration between 6 Danish hospital departments, to provide fast and efficient early phase clinical trials of the highest quality within the field of respiratory medicine

Analysing and predicting strategies of companies within the pharmaceutical industry. Daily responsibilities included managing resources allocated to individual projects, planning daily tasks and providing instructions to research analysts. In addition preparing and presenting conclusions to clients.I participated in several international conferences and I established an extensive worldwide network across the industry and scientific community, including top level management of pharmaceutical companies and KOLs within several areas.Was heading an internal group with focus on IT needs and the development of new IT systems.

Scientific work included modification of human growth hormone in order to improve the efficacy when used as a therapeutic. Obtained experience in managing of a potential pre-project within the development of a new therapeutic. Part of the IndustrialPhD training included courses to gain a better understanding of general business conditions. Was involved in the planning of several seminars and teambuilding events (20-100 pers).

Prior to and during the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) 2009 Congress and Session in Copenhagen I was responsible for the Public Advertisement Campaign and a part of the organizing committee.In addition I was part of the management team of logistics, coordinating transfers of IOC members, VIP's e.c.t.Work was done on a volunteer basis.
