Within the Development Review Services unit, with my recent promotion I will be reviewing site plans for planned commercial construction within unincorporated Pinellas County. While working closely with the county codes and regulations to adhere green architecture and landscaping on sites. In lieu of missing coworkers I will also still be conducting ESI roles as follows: reviewing and issuing permit applications for new houses, house additions and tree removals for compliance with county environmental codes and potential impacts to the environment. Communicate with contractor, homeowner and team members to obtain information and to ensure timely processing of application. Oversee all commercial NPDES inspections for commercial sites within unincorporated Pinellas County.

Oversee all commercial NPDES inspections for commercial sites within unincorporated Pinellas County. Utilize GIS software to view historic property evolution. Conduct field inspections for all commercial sites and single family inspections daily for potential environmental concerns.

While apart of the Water and Navigation unit, I reviewed permit applications for docks and water projects for compliance with county environmental codes and potential impacts to environment. Communicate with contractor, homeowner and team members to obtain information and to ensure timely processing of application. Confirm or adjust job site dimensions through mathematical calculations. Utilize GIS software to view current seagrass and mangrove growth, as well view current structures in area. Under supervision, assist with field site inspections, requiring ability to swim, snorkel, be comfortable in confined spaces. Perform on-site measurements and inspection of environmental habitat.

Managed and trained new hires. Supervised the maintenance and repairs bicycles on campus. Managed inventory, ordered and purchased parts.

Helped maintain and clean the various water habitats within the aquarium. Fed fish, turtles, and marine mammals. Repaired scuba gear. Interned with the turtle team. Tender trained. Interacted with guests, answered questions, furthering the message of importance of aquarium environmental education and conservation work.
