By October 2013 I took up a new challenge in Uponor changing from development environment (back) more near to customers and our business: application manager for renovation. It’s a new role to ensure the commercial and technical performance, competitiveness and continuous development of our indoor climate renovation applications in Europe.I’m prepared now for these main responsibilities, such as overall application strategy development, execution and follow-up for identifying, analyzing and capturing new and existing business opportunities for indoor climate renovation.Similar to product management I’m working to define the renovation roadmaps and development activities, in close cooperation and consultation with our organizations. Project portfolio management with strong focus on systems and solutions is included as well as the field work and networking to understand the competitive situation on the markets as well as our customer’s requirements and needs. In fact of the big and partly untapped renovation potentials in our very different European markets and aware of the ambitious regional and European targets I’m looking forward on really interesting multifaceted activities.
