IT Tech Lead & Agile Scrum Master within Technology Division of Santander's Mortgage Domain.- Key initiatives: 1) Project delivering re-usable APIs & Microservices through CI/CD Pipelines to support accelerating deliveries of initiatives. 2) Project decommissioning legacy platforms and delivering new, enhanced SOA & Front End application to enable Customers servicing their Santander Mortgage. 3) Project delivered Online form & backend to support 250k customers during COVID pandemic with their Mortgage Payment Holiday.- Scrum Master. I am PSM1 Certified and for all my projects responsible for running the Scrum Ceremonies, supporting PO & Dev team, facilitating estimation sessions, removing impediments, coaching others, etc.- Supporting on leading the strategy for our distributed teams, working with various 3rd parties across world to deliver key initiatives within IT for Mortgages.- Line Managing & coaching 7 perm employees; as well as manager of 60+ contracted resources across 6 squads.

IT Engagement Manager, still within Santander's Mortgage Domain. This team was situated as the middle-man between Mortgage Business and Mortgage IT. Responsibilities including:- Working with the business to create customer & client focussed requirements, highlighting the importance of key areas for ROI.- Working with IT to Build, Test & Deploy solutions as part of project delivery; which in-turn required coordination with numerous teams including Architecture, Engineering & Infrastructure.- Conflict resolution between Business & IT, building trust & empowering teams to deliver.- Managing Budgets / Costs with key Business Stakeholders and IT PMs for multi-million pound group of projects.- Service Management with several IT 3rd party providers whom supported key IT processes within Mortgages.- Overall in this role I was able to further develop my understanding of the Mortgage market as the projects I covered a range of areas from Customers to Brokers to Operations staff across both Mortgage Sales & Servicing functions.Finally, in addition to the above, I held my first Line Management position to two Apprentices on Santander's Digital Apprenticeship Programme. This in itself had it's own challenges but was very rewarding to help and guide others in their own careers.

On my third rotation of the Technology & Operations Graduate Programme, I joined Santander's Mortgage Domain as a Consultant within the Mortgages Delivery team. The team liaised with Mortgage Business & Marketing, Mortgage Operations & Mortgages IT to deliver key initiatives to both Mortgage Customers and Internal Mortgage Operations. My primary role here was to lead the delivery of multiple Small Business Changes (SBCs) driving value across multiple areas in Mortgages; for example automation of key processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs & FTE support required, delivery of new online tool in order to reduce paper & costs within Mortgages, and so on.As well as this, I supported my manager with the delivery a key programme for Online Mortgage Customer Servicing which was in it's infancy; this was one of Mortgage Domains first Agile lead initiatives. This, coupled with the BCS two-day Agile Course really started to coach me in Agile practices and further enhancing my understanding of Project Management. Finally, this position started to expose me to a key part of the Financial Industry, Mortgages, a relatively complex but interesting area where my passion for this industry started to take shape.

On my second rotation of the Technology & Operations Graduate Programme, I joined Santander's Banking Reform division as a Programme Manager. Within our team of three, we had oversight of the entirety of the Banking Reform IT workstreams. My primary role here was to coordinate both Business & IT Stakeholders within the Internal workstream, which ranged from HR to Fraud Applications, to drive forward the relevant changes required in order for system readiness in preparation for the Banking Reform legislation. The overall project followed a Waterfall Methodology, so I was involved in the various key stages of delivery included Analysis, Development, Testing & Deployment; as well supporting with the budget/cost management. This is where my passion for Project Management really started to kick-off.

I joined Santander's Technology & Graduate Programme in my first rotation as an Analyst in Santander's Cyber Security team. My primary responsibility in this role was Security Vulnerability management, focussing on coordinating pen testing with 3rd party pen testing companies and driving Vulnerability resolution in timely manner with Santander Business, Engineering and Infrastructure teams; to ensure Customer and Staff applications were secure as this is an ever growing focus of the Banking Industry. Since joining the role I was involved in closing down more than half of the Vulnerabilities the Cyber Team were tracking.

Sports Advisor at Decathlon whilst studying at university. My role within the Fitness department mainly revolves around customer focus; as my knowledge on fitness related activities and nutrition enable me to work with any customer to help with their sporting needs. At the same time, selling fitness equipment is a crucial part of the job; tailoring the equipment to each customers' requirements but also selling good quantities of products.

My primary role was a Systems Analyst for the Global Infrastructure Centre of Excellence (GICoE) team. This involved delivering and supporting solutions, along with producing Disaster Recovery plans; to the manufacturing site affiliates.A secondary role I picked up was a Business Integrator role for the CRM COE solution delivery team. This involved delivering Salesforce-based, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions to Lilly affiliates around the globe. As well as setting up and maintaining certain training environments for Lilly employees within Salesforce.

Customer Assistant in a Tesco Express store whilst studying at University. My role included customer relations both on the till and while on the shop floor; allowing me to develop many interpersonal skills by dealing with customers from all walks of life. Also ensuring the correct deliveries arrived at our store and the shop stayed on top of service even at peak times.
