    On my third rotation of the Technology & Operations Graduate Programme, I joined Santander's Mortgage Domain as a Consultant within the Mortgages Delivery team. The team liaised with Mortgage Business & Marketing, Mortgage Operations & Mortgages IT to deliver key initiatives to both Mortgage Customers and Internal Mortgage Operations. My primary role here was to lead the delivery of multiple Small Business Changes (SBCs) driving value across multiple areas in Mortgages; for example automation of key processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs & FTE support required, delivery of new online tool in order to reduce paper & costs within Mortgages, and so on.As well as this, I supported my manager with the delivery a key programme for Online Mortgage Customer Servicing which was in it's infancy; this was one of Mortgage Domains first Agile lead initiatives. This, coupled with the BCS two-day Agile Course really started to coach me in Agile practices and further enhancing my understanding of Project Management. Finally, this position started to expose me to a key part of the Financial Industry, Mortgages, a relatively complex but interesting area where my passion for this industry started to take shape.

This is where my passion for Project Management really started to kick-off.
