Tom Codd is Chief Operating Officer and Chief People Officer of Axxess. Axxess empowers healthcare in the home with technology solutions to make lives better. Tom is a retired PwC Partner. Tom retired June 30, 2021 after 39 year career with PwC. Tom was a business and financial executive at PwC, serving multinational and private equity clients in the manufacturing, chemicals, engineering & construction and technology industries. He held many business leadership roles at PwC, including Managing Partner of North Texas, Vice Chairman and US Human Capital Leader and US Fit for Growth Managing Partner. He is a two-term elected member of PwC's US Board of Partners and chaired the Governance and Accounting & Auditing Practices Committees. Tom is a CPA and financial expert, with human capital and governance expertise. Other leadership competencies include business strategy, operations, M&A, inclusion, equity and diversity, international and risk management.On April 1, 2021, I became an accredited PwC "Futurist," completing a global six week "Reinventing the Future" program, with an understanding of trends (ADAPT (Asymmetry,Disruption, Age,Polarization, Trust)Framework) impacting the world, government, businesses and populations. I can bring this experience to bear in assisting organizations determine how to repair, rethink and reconfigure their activities in a pandemic and post pandemic world and how to then report this to their broader group of stakeholders.Currently, I serve as Board and Executive Committee Chair of Catholic Charities Dallas; Audit Committee Chair of The Ireland Funds of America and The Cooper Institute; and member of SMU Cox School Executive Board and Purdue University Krannert School Dean's Advisory Council. I attended the Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth, received a Certificate in Digital Strategy from SMU and am media trained by Brainerd Communications.
