Thomas Wade: my story, my missionIn the late 90’s my life-long dream to be a star had almost come true. I was a nationally known, chart-topping, touring Singer-Songwriter. By 2002, my voice was gone, and by late 2004 I could barely speak for reasons my doctors couldn’t explain. Finally in 2006 I was diagnosed with Oromandibular Dystonia - an incurable neurological condition. This story sounds like a tragedy. But it is anything but. In 2017, against all odds, I released my first record in 16 years, "Blue Country Soul". In my book “Singing In My Sleep” I chronicle my journey through what felt like a living hell, to the understanding that helped me rebuild my life, my voice and my speech. In my personal speaking engagements it is my mission to use music and DIY neuro-plastic principles to learn to use cutting edge brain science - without the scalpel: a little knowledge of the brain and the mind can make anyone’s life happier and less stressed. In my Hypnosis practice I help those in need take small steps to big changes. I had to lose my words, and my music to find my voice. Let me help you find yours.
