I worked with subject matter experts to design, build and deliver training for the customer service team at Igloo. I also applied training needs analysis techniques to identify learning gaps and apply the best fit solution. This role has further developed my organisational and communication skills as I have planned and delivered our customer service induction through a period of rapid growth, inducting 60+ employees across five inductions in four months.

In this role I delivered exceptional customer service to Igloo’s customers over the phone, email and social media. I learned what it means to be customer first and mean it, I did my part to help us achieve the #1 spot in customer service on the Citizens advice Bureau rankings. In addition to this I carried out operational tasks including objections, rejections and disputes.

I carried out research into the implementation of the ISO50001:2015 Energy management standard at Coventry University. This included research into how other organisations had implemented the standard, investigation into how Coventry University could best implement ISO50001:2015 and the production of a weather normalised energy baseline. This involved the use of RETScreen Plus software as well as advanced Microsoft Excel functions.

Working as a customer assistant I was on a face to face level with customers where I had to be able to adapt on the fly to their needs. In doing so I was responsible for delivering the high level of customer satisfaction that Tesco takes pride in.
