-Responsible for leading thematic, deep dive and targeted process and control assurance testing reviews for Barclays Europe covering Conduct & Reputational risk for Markets, Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Private Banking and Consumer Bank Europe across 11 European locations- Assessing and identifying risk and controls in scope for testing- Conducting design effectiveness, operational effectiveness, and outcome testing (testing of hypotheses)to determine if control objectives are being met and the associated risk mitigated- Produce high quality reports for the Senior Management team- Responsible for the agreement of issues and remediating action plans with members of the SeniorManagement team.

Assurance Manager - Group Resilience & Assurance

-Providing independent assurance to the Chief Operating Officer on the control environment by independently assessing the design, adequacy and effectiveness of key controls in place to mitigate key risks in Group Operations, Technology & Group Outsourcing. -Involved in the drafting of the annual 1LOD assurance plan.-Risk based assessments to identify control testing and thematic review requirements. -Annual review of methodology and templates- Issue Assurance Testing - Monitoring and testing of remedial action plans-Lead and manage a team of testers to deliver high quality outputs within agreed deadlines. -Management review of teams outputs for approval (Risk and Control assessments for review scoping, testing outputs, reporting)-Produce high quality assurance reports for the Senior Management team-Relationship Management with key stakeholders including AIB UK.- First Line Assurance Group committee member, driving consistency in standards and application of testing methodologies across the 1LOD
