Since this is a relatively new company, the main focus was to reach a market positive outcome, where each HUB was consistently making profits, once all other costs were factored into equation. This meant using different metrics and formulas on platforms like Excel and PowerBi to keep a close eye on costing, and adjust the operation to meet these needs. Other duties included daily calls and communication with other sites and levels of management, aswell as site management of all outgoing parcels and vehicles. Sadly, due to the current cost of living crisis and a change in the current market, URB-it did not meet expected targets and has chosen to end all UK operations, in spite of Liverpool’s high turnover and hard work. It is because of this reason that I have chosen to seek employment elsewhere. -
