Rural Support Partners is a mission-focused management consulting firm based in Asheville, NC. RSP works to expand the impact of community economic development and philanthropy across Central Appalachia while innovating the field of rural development globally.

Founding Director of the Grassroots Support Project (GSP); worked to deepen the impact of rural anchor organizations through leadership/organizational development, strategic regional linkages/networks, and evaluation/learning.

Worked as a Senior Program Consultant / National Program Officer focused on grassroots leadership and social enterprise development within The Annie E. Casey Foundation’s Making Connection Initiative – a 10-year $500,000 million-dollar initiative to create better outcomes for kids living in 22 low income cities across the United States.

Co- Founded and Directed the Center for Participatory Change (CPC), a regional nonprofit organization dedicated to building and strengthening community groups, developing grassroots leadership, and creating policy/systems change.
