Hello everyone, I am humble veteran currently pursuing a degree in cybersecurity technology at University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). I have maintained a GPA of at least 3.5 and was named on the deans list for fall of 2022. I have learned various computer skills during my time at UMGC to include mobile devices, networking technology, hardware, virtualization, cloud computing, Microsoft office and remote/distance learning, I am expected to graduate summer of 2024. Aside from being an online student, I am also employed as an installation crew leader for Cedarbrook Outdoor Design build. I lead a team of 3 - 5 individuals in the creation and installation of various new outdoor construction projects while practicing safe OSHA compliant work procedures. I managing $20,000 – $100,000 dollars’ worth of materials and equipment any given day while maintaining effective communication between company representatives and customers. With over a year as a crew leader, I have always finished projects on time with zero safety incidents. I am a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and spent 5 years active duty. First, as a aviation electrician and then the majority of my time was as a Marine Security Guard. During my time I wasgranted a Top Secret Security Clearance and was trained in various Dept. of State techniques such as weapons handling, defensive tactics, National Registered Emergency Medical Technician (2019), advanced room clearing tactics, radio communications and physical fitness.
